Goal-oriented and solution-focused

The marketing and communication landscape is not always straightforward. Projects often overlap, priorities and objectives may be unclear, or there may be a lack of knowledge or manpower. There could also be opportunities for further professionalisation or a need for a new organisational or collaboration structure. Whether the question is strategic, tactical or operational, DO3L Marketing & Communication is the answer.

Project support

The support that DO3L Marketing & Communication can provide is diverse. It can be at all three levels of marketing and communication, but it can also be as a marketing and communication consultant, an interim marketing and communication manager, or as a trainer. Always goal-oriented and solution-focused!

Strategic

Strategic insight is the essential starting point. Without this insight, there is no plan, and without a goal, there is no solution. Once there is an understanding of the market environment and the market position, we can begin to work on market development.

Examples include:

  • Business and market analysis including target audience, competition, SWOT
  • Branding and (re)positioning including corporate story and ensuring brand consistency
  • Marketing and communication planning including segmentation, tactics, and targets
  • Building and professionalising organisational and collaboration structures including sales

Tactical

Tactical support follows from the strategic plans that have been developed. We now know our goal, we understand where we want to go, and now we determine how to get there. We will assess which message and means we want to use and how we will execute the next steps.

Examples include:

  • Campaign planning
  • Content planning
  • Event calendar including sponsorships
  • Use of paid media including social, advertising, branded content, banner ads, etc.
  • Use of earned media including PR
  • Use of owned media including newsletters

Operational

Operational support follows from the tactical plans. Now we need to roll up our sleeves and start working on the planned activities. This requires overview as well as a perfect alignment with all internal and external stakeholders involved.

Examples include:

  • Setting up or updating the website
  • Writing articles, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and social media posts
  • Organising events
  • Producing videos
  • Creating and sending direct mail
  • Internal communication

Interim marketing and communication manager

Continuity

Of course, there may be times when there is insufficient manpower for the planning and execution of marketing and communication activities. For example, due to illness or maternity leave, or because additional manpower is temporarily needed for certain activities. DO3L Marketing & Communication offers a solution for this as well. With extensive experience in people management, including internationally and for larger teams, you can be sure that the activities and the marketing team are in good hands.

External strategic perspective

Sometimes, an external strategic perspective can be very helpful. For example, to determine the market position, examine the market narrative, take the first step towards establishing a marketing department, clarify the role of marketing and communication within the organisation, or improve the collaboration between marketing and communication, business development, and sales, in order to enhance the results of their combined efforts.

Trainer

More insight for larger groups

If it’s useful to provide larger groups with more insight into the fields of marketing, communication, and sales at the same time, DO3L can also provide training. The training can cover various topics, be customised, and address several challenges, such as:

  • How can we improve collaboration between sales, marketing, and communication?
  • How do I set up a multimedia campaign?
  • What is Account-Based Marketing?
  • I have a LinkedIn account, now what?
